    Abstract
The paper presents data collected by the ongoing Glossary of the Romancero general of 1600, focusing on the Baroque Romancero nuevo, written by a known or identifiable author. Thus, the Glossary contains the first 450 texts drawn from a total 803 texts and has been composed by a team of 11 graduates from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, coordinated by Patrizia Botta. A part of the Glossary has already been published and is available on the website Glossari di ispanistica (http://digilab2.let.uniroma1.it/glosarios); articles and reports on the first results gained were also published. The paper draws attention to the many cases of unica, that is, those words that have only one mention in the Glossary. The large number of these unica elevate the lexical variety of this corpus. Special attention is paid to the specific terms of the Romancero morisco, which presents a peculiar lexicon of Arabic origin, and related onomastics.
